If it really was the end of Sword Art Online, they wouldn’t of muted what Kirito said at the end, ya know? It’d leave the viewer in suspense. Well that’s just my opinion.
We never find out what he says, it’s left ambiguous in the light novels too. That said there’s very little doubt we’ll be getting a second season.
Im pretty sure if there is a second season they will first animate the second Fairy Dance, and then a possibility for Gun Gale.
Mother’s Rosario takes place after Phantom Bullet. So far the anime has gone out of its way to animate stuff in chronological order so I seriously doubt they’d stop doing it now.
So i was watching the last episode of sao peacefully, actually enjoying all the KiritoxAsuna feels, it was overall a great episode, with a predictable happy ending.. But then..
no…
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
At first i was like
But then it got outta control
I CAN’T HANDLE THIS WHY WHY WHYYYYYYYYYY
YOU KNOW WHAT FUCK EVERYTHING!!
But then i was like…
Kirito’s staaats :’(
Come back, take me instead :’(
So long… Overpowered Kirito… :’((((
Don’t worry, he’ll be back to an overpowered beast in no time. Hell, by the next arc he’s already kicking serious ass.
Again…I would like to address my own opinion regarding the events of Episode 24 of Sword Art Online.
Many, many people in the SAO tag have been publishing hate-like reviews of this episode due to the seriously massive Deus ex Machina it holds. I really, REALLY dislike this hate—not only because I really like this show, but also because it misunderstands the literary uses of deus ex machina.
I’m putting the rant underneath a read more on purpose. If you’re going to send me hate because I express an opinion then don’t read it. If you’ll go into it open minded, even if you disagree, welcome!
Great examination, it totally works within the anime if thought of that way. On the other hand the anime leaves out part of Kirito’s original monologue. It leaves out him desperately pleading for someone, anyone, to help him, to grant him the power to defeat Sugou even if it means giving up his life. It’s his pleading that awakens Kayaba’s consciousness. To him it’s been almost an instant between now and when Aincrad collapsed.
Also, he doesn’t help Kirito for free: His price is to have Kirito decide what to do with the World Seed, which should hopefully be explained in full next episode.
”After saving her completed biology report, Asuna closed her virtual keyboard, picked up the mug next to her and filled it with hot tea with a tap of her finger.”
So she logged into a virtual reality game… and did her homework inside the game.
The cafes in Alfheim Online must be really, really good.
Well, think about it: In virtual reality you can project screens anywhere around you, you’re working with a lot more surface area.
